The SunTransfer 1, an LED lamp from the company SunTransfer, has just passed Lighting Africa quality tests for system level performance, component performance, durability, and manufacturing quality. The SunTransfer 1 can be used as a torch or fixed to the ceiling, and features an optional cell phone charger.

The SunTransfer 1 is the eighth solar portable lantern that has met Lighting Africa's recommended performance targets.
